SASSA Will Take Solutions to Fernie Local Community

Tuesday, August 27, 2024

The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently going to the Fernie two Local community Hall in Mpuluzi to render providers to your community.

SASSA might be rendering providers including new social grant applications, change of payment method, client care enquiries, plus the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.

In a statement, the agency explained it's alarmed concerning the high number of people relying on social grants for survival.
“The intention of the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out to some superior number of clients/beneficiaries sassa to access SASSA services.

“This really is due to the lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there is no totally functional office committed to service the area regularly. The service stage produced for intervention encounters a large influx of possible beneficiaries, which makes it challenging to the office to attend to all people who pay a visit to a service point.

“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise a lot more sources to enable the servicing of all customers and improve usage of Social Assistance products and services,” the agency said.
